Here are some articles selected from the "popular" literature of Biology. There will be a set of bonus questions on the test that relate to these articles (1-3 questions per article).  Some of these are pdf files, others are links.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the pdf files- the program should be on any of the computers on campus.   If you need to download it at home, there is a link at the bottom of the page.  I hope that you enjoy these readings.

You may notice that several of these were written by Carl Zimmer- he is one of the best science journalists writing today.  He has a blog called "the Loom" that you might find interesting.
