“In-class exercises” are easy pop-quizzes (unannounced), based on assigned reading and focusing on key terms in the study guide. These are usually matching or multiple choice, on the most basic points.

There will be as many as 8-10 in-class exercises in the course of the semester; the 2-3 lowest scores will be dropped. There is NO MAKE-UP for these basic indicators of daily preparation; the ones you miss should be covered by the ones we drop.
