In the first exchange of anapests (96-130), notice the accumulation of comparatives and superlatives:

θᾶσσον  (< *θαχ-ιον) neuter  comp. as adverb, from ταχὺς, ταχὺ = ‘fast, swift’

κρεῖσσον (< κρατ-ιον) neuter  comp. as adverb, ‘better’

λωίων, -ον,  κτλ. superlative λωιστος, -η, ον,  better/best (from λά-ω ‘want’)

μεῖζων, -ονος  (< μεγ-ιων) m&f comparative, from μέγας

            plural μείζους =μείζονας

100-60:

ἀμπλακία  ~ ἁμαρτία ‘error, wrong, sin’, etc.

ἄτη, -ης ‘disaster’ (esp. the ruin that comes from over-indulgence)
