Research Interests:

Professor Connor's eclectic research interests include American Political Thought (very broadly defined!) and the Congress. He has published articles in the Social Science Journal, PS: Political Science and Politics, Comparative State Politics, Journal of Public Affairs, Utopian Studies,  Interdisciplinary Study of the Arts, Utopus Discovered, Extrapolation, and Biblical Theology Bulletin, as well as book chapters in Congress Reconsidered, Congress: A Century of Change (both with Vanderbilt's Bruce Oppenheimer), Social Work Practice with Children and Families (with Greg Skibinski), and Reinventing Missouri Government.  He has recently written some Missouri entries for the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Congress.  He is in the middle of co-editing The Constitutionalism of American States with Chris Hammons.  Information about the little project can be found at
