Position Paper Three:

Parallels

The directions are simple.  Write a two to three page paper on up to three of the exercises on pp. 74-75 of CWH.  All require you to work with parallels in the way Hedrick has demonstrated in the chapter.  Some of the exercises are based on short passages that will not require too much comment while others could require the space of your whole paper to discuss adequately.  That's why I say up to three.  If you do exercise one, add the question "What conclusions do you draw from your analysis?"

If you want, you can make a photo-copy of the passages and make whatever marks on them you think will help me follow your discussion.  Or you can assume I have the Synopsis of the Four Gospels in hand and refer to it appropriately.
