English 573: Presentation

For your presentation, you will research a topic related to writing for the Web. Ideally, you should select a topic we won't have a chance to cover (or cover thoroughly) through our course texts and class discussions. The research you gather should be from credible sources, which, when possible, should include technical communications publications, such as Technical Communication and Intercom.

In delivering your presentation, explain the topic to your classmates in language they will understand, and establish the relationship between your subject and this course. Further, explain the effect of your topic on technical communicators. Why do they need to be concerned with this topic?

Your presentation should last 8–10 minutes if you're an undergraduate student or 12–15 minutes if you're a graduate student.
