Notate the melody, which is modal. You will hear one measure of beats on the tonic before it begins.
Name the tonic and mode.
DO NOT use a key signature when writing the melody (but DO use appropriate accidentals); instead, write the appropriate key signature in the space provided at the end of the melody.
Be sure your beaming reflects the meter!
