The nations largest urban public university, City University has provided quality educational programs for all, New Yorkers since 1847. More than 200,000 students in some 1,300 degree programs attend classes on 19 campuses. CUNY's adult and continuing education programs also enroll more than 200,000 students. Our campuses serve as indispensable cultural, social and educational resources to their communities.
