Sacagawea--Chapter 7  Discussion Questions 

1. It is now Sept. 2, 1805. Where are they now?

2. When the Corps meets up with the Flathead Indians, what happens?

3. Look on the map. Can you locate Nez Perce Pass? (hint: name today is Lolo Pass)

4. Find the Kooskooskee River (Clearwater River).

5. How did Colt Killed Creek get its name?

6. Nez Perce Indians showed the Corps of Discovery a new way to make canoes. What was their method?

7. Kooskooskee (Clearwater) River met the Kimooenin (Snake) River where? Look on the map.

8. On October 16, 1805, six months after leaving Fort Mandan, the Corps comes to the Columbia River. What is their goal now? 

9. What was unusual about the Skilloot Indians?
