Hey Family and Friends!! Thanks for

homepage. Please make a donation to
support my participation in the 2008
Light The Night Walk and help save
lives.
For those who do not
know me....My name is Connor. I am 5
years old and was diagnosed with
Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia in
August 2007. I participated in last
year's Light The Night walk and had
a blast, and I am looking forward to
doing it again this year!
A little bit about
the event..... Light The Night is
the nation’s night to pay tribute
and bring hope to thousands of
patients battling blood cancers and
to commemorate loved ones lost. |

Leukemia Light the Night Fund Raising
Saturday, September 24, 2005
|
|
Well, we surpassed last year by a landslide!
We raised a total of $6176.22! Our team came in 2nd place again this
year for fundraising. Together we showed how we can make a
difference in this world! |
As we received donations from friends,
relatives, neighbors,
and various other people who were willing to help us reach our goal, the
paper balloons filled our hallway outside our classroom.

On the day of our bake sale when we made a total of
$486.62 our
honor patient, Ethan Hite, came for a visit with the class. Jason,
his father, explained what Ethan has had to go through already in his
short, young life. We learned a lot, and just before they left,
Ethan threw us a kiss. |

| Light the Night, Saturday, September 24, finally arrives! Time
for the celebration with food, games and fun...and then the 3 mile walk.
It was a long walk, a pleasant night with a soft rain, and everyone
enjoyed themselves. We were awarded the second place for
fundraising, and that night the money raised was $92,000--the most ever
raised in the Springfield area! We were so proud to be part of
that total. We had lots of our classmates there, lots of our
parents, and even Dr. Janice Duncan, our Greenwood Director, came to
cheer us on! It was a remarkable night. Not only was our
class there, but many 4th grade alumni showed up to join us. How
fun! |
2004
| This Past Year, fall of 2004 We raised a total of $3,645!
