Research Interests:

Professor Rushefsky's research and teaching interests include public policy, public administration, environmental policy, and health policy. He has published articles in Policy Studies Review; Policy Studies Journal; Journal of Health Politics, Policy, and Law; Applied Behavioral Science Review; Journal of Politics, and has contributed chapters in several books. Professor Rushefsky is also the author of a number of books: Making Cancer Policy (1986), Public Policy in the United States, 2nd Edition (1996), Health Policy and Politics in America, 2nd Edition (1999, co-authored with Kant Patel), and Politics, Power, and Policy Making: The Case of Health Care Reform (1997, co-authored with Kant Patel).
