Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Filifera Aurea:’ Gold Threadbranch False Cypress (shrub)

·         branchlets slender, more rounded, cordlike, needles slightly spreading at tips of branchlets; needles in pairs with whitish lines on them

·         grows in 6-8' tall and 10' wide in a drooping mound

·         fruit is a small yellow-brown cone

·         prefers full sun, moist, high-organic matter, well-drained acidic soils

·         medium growth rate
