Fraxinus pennsylvanica: Green Ash

·         very similar to white ash except:

    o   leaflets more pubescent underneath (less whitish) and turn yellow for fall color

    o   leaf scar is shield shaped— not indented at top

o   more tolerant of dry and variable soils than white ash
