Case Studies

  1. Select one of the case studies at the end of a chapter or one of the "Making Business Decisions" scenarios at the end of each Business Plug-In (you will do only one case study/scenario during the semester). NOTE: I am only scheduling a maximum of five case studies per chapter/plug-in.  If you wait until the end of the semester and no slots are available, then you will not be allowed to present a case study. You may turn in the PowerPoint but you will only receive at most half credit.
  2. Email your selection of a case study/scenario to the instructor. He will contact you and give you final approval.
  3. If approved, prepare a PowerPoint presentation of the major points of the case study/scenario, and your answers to the case study questions or other required analysis/actions.
  4. Do not write paragraphs in your presentation--write summary points with key pieces of information
  5. Do not read your case study presentation.
  6. Add a slide entitled "Current information" about the case/scenario using the Internet or other sources to add some important current information about the case/scenario (cite those sources in the presentation)
  7. Email your PP presentation (subject line: CIS 429 case study) to the instructor before your presentation (RichardJohnson@MissouriState.edu).
  8. Present your case study to the class (approx. 10 minutes)
