Students had  3 days to complete individual projects of their own design at a mountain site in west-central Wyoming, where we stayed in a hunting lodge and enjoyed the hospitality of Norm & Pat Negus, and Perry & Connie Binning.
Amanda counted trees of different species in areas of past clear-cuts of different ages. Jessica wondered if the butterflies were different on flowers at different elevations.

Rodney looked at the aquatic insects in parts of the river with different slopes and elevations
Tarryn investigated the flower diversity in meadows at different elevations. Matt used a fly rod to fish for trout, and compared size to elevation.
