These pictures represent the daily life while on our trip, and some of the trials and tribulations.
This trip required a lot of setting up & breaking camp, but the views from our campsites were great (here Glacier NP). We also loaded & unloaded the trailer more times than we want to count, here at Farragut State Park in northern Idaho.
Naturally, there was lots of cooking, eating, and dish-washing.  Luckily, Karen Klein was with us to take charge of this. Gregg Krumme was the driver of van #2, and a trip veteran.  Unfortunately, he wasn't tall enough to hide this sign.
Karen's son Barrett helps with part of the trip too. Tarryn was trying out for the title of  "class ham"

With these backdrops, can you blame the students for smiling?  Matt, Rodney, & Jean enjoying a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park (CO)(left), while Amanda & Kevin (top/right) and Matt & Jessica (bottom/right) are at Glacier National Park (MT).
At Dr. Tomasi's birthday party at the hunting lodge (WY), he burst the pinata while Norm, Pat, & the class looked on. Jessica and Jean were not the only ones amazed to see mountain goats right on the "Road-to-the-Sun" in Glacier NP.

A trip like this is not without its dangers.  Gregg did a good job of controlling his van when it blew a tire on I10 in AZ, and Blake changed the shredded tire.  Then, we almost lost Anne & Tarryn in the steam of a Yellowstone geyser. Conversely, we gained one person who we think is a direct descendent of Daniel Boone.
