Served as an Election Observer in an American delegation assigned to monitor the presidential election in Taiwan, Republic of China, March 2008.
Commissioned by The Atlantic Council of the United States to prepare and present a report examining Taiwan's security development to the year 2020 with an emphasis on the implications for U.S. policy.
Commissioned by Los Alamos National Laboratory's Center for National Security Studies to prepare and present a report concerning Taiwan's perspectives on nuclear weapons and East Asian regional security. Project was completed June 20, 1994.
