·         Tender perennial with sprawling growth habit, often branching at nodes

·         Leaves opposite, simple, lanceolate, with toothed margins, or opposite, pinnately compound with 3-7 lanceolate leaflets with toothed margins

·         Inflorescences at stem tips or on long stems from axils of leaves

·         Inflorescences have white ray flowers and yellow disk flowers

·         Mainly found in warm to tropical climates, south of Midwest
