Birdseye Pearlwort: 

·         Stolon-producing creeping perennial with linear, awl-like, somewhat fleshy leaves, slender stems and greenish-white flowers

·         Found in close-mowed turf, nursery container plants, growing among rocks

·         Prefers cool, moist soils—usually not too persistent here, unless near cool springs

·         Similar species, knawel, has greenish, petal-less flowers that are without stalks in axils of leaves
