Bitter Sneezeweed: (p. 143 in Weeds of the Great Plains; not in Weeds of the Northeast)

o   produce bright yellow daisy-like flowers with mounded center and notched petals

o   usually found in pastures, fields, roadsides

o   is a branched summer annual

o   has numerous, very narrow leaves

o   is a  branched plant 6-12" tall

o   causes bitter milk in grazing cows

o   becoming more common in southern Missouri
