*      branching annual weed that grows 6-24 inches tall with narrow, toothed margin basal leaves

*      flowers are small, yellow in terminal racemes

*      fruit is slender, very long silque—2-5” long—making plant look like densely branched, leafless plant at maturity

*      common in winter annual crops, forages, roadsides, non-crop areas
