Corn Spurry:

·         winter annual or summer annual with linear leaves appearing in whorls at nodes

·         moderate branching from central stem coming from the taproot

·         branches more horizontal, with long internodes and may be sticky to touch

·         flowers tiny, white, five-petaled on long stalks from upper nodes on plant; seeds tiny and black

·         found in open turf, in moist, fertile soils, gardens, disturbed sites
