Cypressvine:  (not in Weeds of the Northeast, nor in Weeds of the Great Plains)

*      summer annual vine with heart-shaped, but finely divided leaves—almost like only the main veins are present in leaves, not much tissue in between

*      flowers are 1-3 inches long, bright red, trumpet shaped—favored  by hummingbirds

*      found in cultivated fields and waste areas

*      similar species:  cardinal climber, has more tissue on deeply lobed leaves (fewer divisions) but similar flowers, growth habit and occurrences
