Dogfennel, Hogweed (Eupatorium capillifolium) (not in Weeds of the Great Plains;  pp. 140-141, Weeds of the Northeast)

·         tall-growing simple perennial with many upright-growing branched stems and finely-divided leaves

·         leaves and stems are covered with fine, soft hairs

·         leaves have a bad odor to them

·         flowers are tiny, and in axils of leaves

·         not common in Missouri, but more common south and east of here
