Field Pepperweed:  (not in Weeds of the Great Plains; mentioned on p. 178, Weeds of the Northeast)

·         winter annual with basal rosette of elongated, finely-toothed leaves

·         sends up several, 1-2’ tall stems from base, which split into multiple racemes at top

·         flowers small, white; siliques flat, rounded, with notch at tip

·         found in pastures, forage crops, reduced tillage crops, non-crop disturbed areas

·         usually not as common as Virginia pepperweed
