Flowering Spurge:

· Midwest-native, upright-growing, unbranched (until flowering) summer annual, 2-4 feet tall

· Tolerant of many soil types, common in pastures, roadsides, non-crop areas, sometimes in cultivated crops

· Oval leaves are hairless and medium to bright green, hairless

· Produces flattened clusters of small (1/4 inch diameter) white flowers

· Plant may be toxic if ingested in quantity by livestock

· Milky sap may irritate skin for sensitive humans
