Ivy-leaved morningglory:

·        has english ivy-shaped, three-lobed leaves and bright blue flowers

·        leaves, stems, fruit fairly pubescent (hairy)

·        is a summer annual vine

·        produces bur-like seedpods; reproduces readily by seed

·        found in cultivated fields and waste areas

·        related subspecies, entireleaf morningglory, is the same in all aspects except leaves are heart-shaped instead of having the three-lobed, ivy-like leaves
