Ivy-leaved morningglory:

        has english ivy-shaped, three-lobed leaves and bright blue flowers

        leaves, stems, fruit fairly pubescent (hairy)

        is a summer annual vine

        produces bur-like seedpods; reproduces readily by seed

        found in cultivated fields and waste areas

        related subspecies, entireleaf morningglory, is the same in all aspects except leaves are heart-shaped instead of having the three-lobed, ivy-like leaves
