·         Biennial or annual native to Asia with foliage similar to wild carrot, but somewhat hairy and finely divided

·         Stems slender, ridged, pubescent

·         Smaller growing, about 1-3 feet tall

·         Inflorescence more of a compound umbel (like poison hemlock)

·         Seeds are oval, burlike, attaching readily to livestock, clothing

·         Found in drier soils, pastures, open woods, roadsides, non-crop areas
