Oakleaf Goosefoot:  (not in Weeds of the Great Plains, nor Weeds of the Northeast)

·         Summer annual weed found more in northern Midwest with triangular, slightly fleshy, oak-like leaves with white leaf undersides

·         Stems are ridged, green or pinkish red and tend to sprawl horizontally or ascend from base of main stem

·         Found in moist, fertile soils in cultivated crops; sometimes a lawn weed in thin turf

·         Has more fleshy leaves, with white leaf undersides than nuttall povertyweed, and usually is not found in infertile, poor soils as is the povertyweed
