Partridge Pea:

· Annual with alternate pinnately-compound leaves, like a “sensitive plant” or mimosa tree

· Grows 8-36 inches tall, with little branching

· Yellow, rounded flowers 0.5-1.5 inches diameter, in axils of leaves

· Fruit is a flattened pod 1-3 inches long

· Can cause “scours” in cattle grazing on them
