Silver Beardgrass: 

·         native, warm-season perennial grass with silvery, white, fluffy compressed panicles at the top of slender, naked culms—some colonies have larger, fluffier inflorescences than others

·         bunch-type sprawling grass common on southwest Missouri roadsides

·         not often listed as a weed, but seems to be increasing on roadsides
