Spotted Burclover:  (not in Weeds of the Great Plains, nor Weeds of the Northeast)

·         spreading winter or summer  annual with many branches and larger, trifoliate leaves with serrated edges and a purplish mark in the center of the leaflets

·         stems hairy, flowers yellow in clusters at leaf axils

·         fruit is bur-like

·         found in lawns, cultivated crops, disturbed sites; more common in southern U.S.
