Spreading Yellowcress:  

           ·         Native creeping perennial weed that produces creeping roots, growing 3-18 inches tall, with mostly prostrate to sprawling stems that can form large patches

           ·         Leaves are 1-3 inches long, about 1 inch wde, with moderately-lobed margins—sort of like an oak leaf

           ·         Flowers are small, yellow, followed by ˝ inch long, curved elliptical siliques

           ·         Found in moist soils, pastures, reduced-tillage fields, non-crop areas

           ·         More common in western part of Midwest, while Creeping Yellow Fieldcress  is more common in eastern part—both are found in Missouri

           ·         Not as invasive as creeping yellow fieldcress
