Swamp Smartweed: 

*   creeping perennial

*   similar to pennsylvania smartweed, but leaves slightly larger

*    more hairs on stem than Pennsylvania smartweed

*    flower spikes very bright pink (actually attractive)

*    usually seen only in very wet soils
