Thymeleaf Sandwort: 

·       a cool-season annual or biennial weed that has opposite, triangular/egg-shaped leaves with pointed tips, sprawling growth habit and 5-petaled white flowers

·        similar to common chickweed in the Caryophyllaceae (Pink) family

·        leaves are smaller, more sparse, and flower petals without deep lobe/notch of common chickweed

·        tends to flower later into summer than common chickweed
