Tumble Mustard:  (pp. 218-219, Weeds of the Great Plains; mentioned on pp. 184-185, Weeds of the Northeast)

·         annual or winter annual weed that grows 2-5’ tall

·         leaves large, deeply divided into slender lobes

·         flowers white, followed by long, slender stick-like seed pods 2-4” long

·         found in small grains & non-crop areas

·         stems break off after seeds produced, so plant “tumbles” with wind
