Wild Four O’Clock: 

·                     simple perennial in the Four O’Clock (Nyctaginaceae) Family with opposite, heart-shaped to triangular, smooth leaves

·                     flowers are greenish to pale pinkish in terminal clusters in late summer—open in evening, close in morning

·                     grows 1-4’ tall

·                     prefers fertile soils—pastures, roadsides, gardens, orchards, nurseries, non-crop areas
