Perennial blue lettuce

·        perennial with creeping roots, growing 12-36” tall can spread to form large colonies in just a couple of years

·        more common north of here, but can be found in most of Midwest

·        lower leaves somewhat toothed to just slightly lobed

·        stem leaves thin, linear

·        flowers sky-blue, like chicory, but smaller
